The winter wind strikes cold
Darkness prevails
One thing leads to one
Two
Suddenly it changes
A moon to light the heart of winter

Through the season cold
Warmth seeps into the heart of old
Change occurs
Happiness

The tears gone, replaced by another
Better companion
Tangible
Yet the thing itself intangible

Feelings not understood
Make the pair fly
The moon to light
The wanderer’s path
Through the darkest night

One, two, three weeks pass
All full of seeming bliss
Four
The note strikes home

Fear refuses to answer

I also wrote this one awhile ago and decided to post it after finding it.
