Hollow eyes and cheekbones high
Chattering teeth and porcelain skin
Elbows wider than biceps
Air between the thighs
Hipbones cusp a sunken, growling tummy
Shoulder blades prepared to sprout and take flight
Collarbone hills for shoulders to perch upon

Mirror deep in my skin
Ten fingered fiends measure, measure, measure
they pinch to prove there’s an inch
Blue irises scold, scold, scold
that pound must go away
Ana’s voice counts, counts, counts
she knows the numbers by heart
