Hearts are broken
Secrets revealed
Cuts unhealed
Eyelids turned inside out
What’s this world all about?
Cutting yourself daily
Things I cannot believe
Poison to my veins
Struggling to stay alive
Holding tight on the reigns
Then all goes quiet as I dive
The waters deep
Beneath my toes
Now everyone knows
How the story goes
I gasp for air
And withdraw myself
Now is the time
I shall seek help
I pity myself
And those like me
I’m trapped in this world
Lord please set me free
