I’ve been sayin’ who do ya wanna be?
I’ve been askin’ myself.
Who do I wanna be?
I’m not sure right now.
Could you tell me?
‘Cause I don’t even know who I am.
Well I’m tryin’ to find myself.
But I need someone to help pull me to the ground.
My dreams are so big.
My hope so strong.
But I don’t even know where
I truly belong.
I live in one world,
And, dream in another.
Which should my soul be in?
I’ve been sayin’ who do ya wanna be?
I’ve been askin’ myself.
Who do I wanna be?
I’m not sure right now.
Could you tell me?
‘Cause I don’t even know who I am.
Have ya figured out yet?
Nope, neither have I.
I’m tryin’ to move along.
But, I feel awkward in my shoes.
I don’t even know who I am.
Not truly.
Not truly.
Not knowin, who I am.
Not truly.
Not truly.
I’ve been sayin’ who do ya wanna be?
I’ve been askin’ myself.
Who do I wanna be?
I’m not sure right now.
Could you tell me?
‘Cause I don’t even know who I am.
‘Cause I don’t even know who I am.
‘Cause I don’t even know..ow..ow..whooo…Iiii…ammm.

I think about who I am a lot. I'm a religious Jew in a heavily Christian populated town. I go to public school, and wonder who I really am, and will become.
