Music of My Heart

Love drunken melodies drip from my soul
Into a river of remedies that have nowhere to go.
You play my keys just right and sing lovely tunes
Nothing compares even close to the old and the new.
Your stories hit deep down and tingle my heart
With a fret of salvation that I don’t want to part.
Warped in an endless chord, tangled in you
I could listen forever if there was nothing else to do.
