Would You Let a Robot Vote?
So I ask, would you let a robot vote?
And he sat there and he pondered
Thinking of a clever rebuttal
He waited and he wondered
And he sat there and he pondered
He was searching for the perfect response
He waited and he wondered
And then he found it
He was searching for the perfect response
Thinking deeply about the topic
And then he found it
The reason was robots aren’t human
Thinking deeply about the topic
He found the perfect answer
The reason was robots aren’t human
I retort that what if they could think.
He found the perfect answer
But the answer was easily countered
I retort what if they could think.
They would be as close to human as possible.
But the answer was easily countered
They still wouldn’t be human
They would be as close to human as possible.
But they still aren’t human
They still wouldn’t be human
But what if they were able to look human
But they still aren’t human
They could make there own decisions and function in society.
But what if they looked human
With fake skin and real thoughts
They could make there own decisions and function in society.
They would be predominantly human
With fake skin and real thoughts
He could not counter.
They would be predominantly human
He could think of no reason for them not to vote
He could not counter
Thinking of a clever rebuttal
He could think of no reason for them not to vote
So I ask, would you let a robot vote?
