My Friends
We like to be crazy
Because that’s what we do.
Sometimes we’re a tad bit lazy
And wonder why the sky is so blue.
We make jokes everyday
And perhaps laugh a bit too loud
But what else can I say?
My friends make me proud
We can be serious if we try
Especially at Mass
But when lunch comes by
It’s our break from class.
We make every day fun
Even at school
We dread the mile run
But at the end we’re still cool
My friends wanted me to rhyme
So I really did try
I had a really great time
But now I say, “Good-bye.”
