The water is cold against my toes.
The waves crash over the rough sand.
The air is warm.
The sun begins its decent below the horizon.

The waves crash over the rough sand.
The water is cold against my ankles.
The sun begins its decent below the horizon.
Its light streaks across the sea.

The water is cold against my ankles.
Nearing now my thighs.
Its light streaks across the sea.
Oh what a joyous place to be.

Nearing now my thighs,
The water is cool.
Oh what a joyous place to be.
The sky is a radiant orange.

The water is cool,
Cool against my stomach.
The sky is a radiant orange,
The sea is a deep, deep green.

Cool against my stomach,
The water is refreshing.
The sea is a deep, deep green.
The birds fly through the sky.

The water is refreshing.
Refreshing against my shoulders.
The birds fly through the sky,
Searching for their evening meal.

Refreshing against my shoulders,
The soft sea floor sand oozes through my toes.
Searching for their evening meal,
Which they bring to their nest.

The soft sea floor sand oozes through my toes.
I swim towards the shore.
Which they bring to their nest.
Night is fast approaching.

I swim towards the shore.
The water is cool against my ankles.
