Not a Sweeter Thing

Early in the morning,
When the sand lays in windswept swirls,
And the water is glassy and gleaming
Kind of like tears
Two lovers walk onto this scene of perfection
Absorbed in each other
Consumed with one another
Yet respectful to one another
The way is should be
They traipse along the beach
Oblivious to the world
And he leans over and whispers in her ear
And she blushes,
She looks up at him,
Her eyes alight with love
And his smile widens at her reaction
And finally when they reach the end of the beach he grabs both her hands
And leans down on his knee
Her mouth opens with shock
Her eyes well with passion
His stomach churns
As he pulls out a ring
And utters those besotted words in the presence of God and nature
And the two embrace
Now one in heaven
As the waves clap their approval
And God smiles upon this perfect couple
They walk back off the beach
Each passionately in love
And behind them they leave a trail of footprints
First, the timid steps imprinted on that fateful meeting
Then the carefree, jubilated steps of a young couple, occasionally irregular as they dance and laugh
Then slowly it stops, and the soft indent of his knee is seen
Accompanied with wet splotches from her joyful tears
And now as they walk in a path solely for designed by God for them,
They will leave more, becoming fast and furious
Joined by some small, stumbling ones that eventually grow larger
And as the indents become heavier and labored
They will stop altogether
And as they look back on their path of life and love,
They are convinced that there can not be a sweeter thing.

This is my second thing to this site. (other=a fractured petal)
Sorry, I know I use "and" a lot, also sorry if the romance is fake-ish, I'm only 13 (still a teenager!) and I have not experienced that particular feeling. Please tell me what you think!
