The Waves

The waves rush in to meet me and my love
And back out to the wide-open ocean
The wind sings a cruel song in the sky above
The waves become harsh with brutal motion

My love is disappearing in the wave
My heart bursts into a thousand tiny parts
As I want and hope to reach out and save
Now he is gone and so is our two hearts

The waves took my love and now may take me
For without him by, nothing would go on
I wish that if only then I could see
That everyday will continue at dawn

Don’t ever give up your only spirit
For any wrong will go and time cure it
