These words I say
Will forever remember that day.
And these thoughts I pour
Remind me of days we use to soar.
My emotions you’ll hear
…And yes, written in tears…
Will never again mean what should.
This bleeding heart now made of wood.
A year of love hidden to a year of lies.
To say you’ve never loved me…
My eyes drained dry…
A heart found lost and withered…
Finally finds love…
But it is hindered…
With the dying of a dove…
Yet being friends is what you want…
What friend lies about love to taunt…
You added beauty to all my days…
Now my soul knows what words to say…
Goodbye.
