I’ve made up my mind;
Soul never been so clear.
Nothing is holding me down –
Chaining my heart to the floor.
I step into the downpour;
Striding through the storm.

Hours pass as the rains move on.
And I find myself, unexpectedly,
Touching the wood of your door.
Each knock begging for entrance
As I shiver –
Unable to move forward.
