you try to let go but
your grip is still there.

you try to forget
but your mind seems to
remind you night and day

you try to move past a
certain point in your
life but memories
keep you stuck
Lifes crazy sometimes
you want to forget
feelings you had for a
person but this person
some how drags them out
again, again and again
