On the frozen ground,
My heart lies shattered like glass.
Stumbling upon this mass of debris,
You begin to piece me back together,
One day at a time,
Repairing my weary soul.
With every second I spend with you,
I grow nearer and nearer
To who you truly are.
Never believing I could feel this way again,
Confusion fills my thoughts.
Not sure of when I started falling
For your pure beauty and charm.
Maybe it was the first time I gazed upon you.
I just never really looked deep enough inside of myself.
My angel that has been here all along
Has finally revealed herself,
And true sight has been given to me.
She is perfect in my eyes.
