If this is how I love 

Then I want it to stop

I hate this feeling

It makes my heart drop

The first time was good

Until it turned bad

I was broken and hurt

And then I got mad

It lasted too long

And tore me apart

It’s all over now

Yet damaged is my heart

It started again

With somebody near

It didn’t really hurt

But my feelings weren’t clear

They found out in the end

Then my anger was heard

Why is it like this

The way that I love

I yelled it to them

It was just my luck

That I fell once more

Another person forbidden

My head and heart went to war

I sighed in relief

When I found this one untrue

My head was messing

And my heart was through

Internally, I fought

While outside I smiled

My head and my heart

Enemies, both wild

This is how I love

But I don’t want it to be

It just brings about pain
