I'm Sorry for Staring, but the Piano is My Favorite Instrument
I’m sorry for staring,
But that delicious melody revived my vapid form.
Those petite alabaster bits move so briskly,
That they lull the ever present anxiety accompanying daily life.
For a moment the world revolves around nothing,
A simple serenade in D minor will suffice.
An elegant pattern of rhythm constructing an enigma,
Transforming bitter actuality into luscious fantasy.
The desperate dry trails of my creativity cower,
Until the glorious composition begins.
I tread the musical waters, awaiting the waves of revitalization.
I’m sorry for staring, but the piano is my favorite instrument.
