As i lay here

As i lay here watching the sky
i think to myself and wonder why
i wonder why pain and suffering
is all power brings
why the oath with rings
causes deep depression within
with deception and hate allowing us to sin
then i think it over
just one more time
then i think to myself
and i look to the sky
i wonder in deep thought and sorrow
and i think after all of this pain
i wait for tomorrow
