Put a dress on my body
Shakles on my wrists
only here to serve and please,
is painted on my lips

Don't speak unless spoken to
your voice remains unheard
just another women's words fogotten, among the rest.
So many minds hidden behind
a satin dress

The ring on your finger,
says it all
That you are a man's wife,
that is all

So put a dress on my body,
shakles on my wrists.
And as for self discovery
To that, I blow a kiss.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece because there can be a time in every women's life that you feel weak or unheard. But we all have a voice, so I shared mine in this poem.
