As I wander through the desert, my life so weary and dry,
I struggle for my loved ones, and try to just get by.

Though the winds may blow strong and there’s no water to spare,
I strive to survive in this desert life so bare.

I’m lost and I’m lonely. I don’t know where to go.
I keep moving forward, but my head still hangs low.

Then I step on a new ground covered in green.
I look up and see you there, smiling back at me.

You hold me in your arms and give me a kiss.
Now I can survive ‘cause you’re my oasis.

I only have one dream to wish.
Will you always be my oasis?
My oasis. Oasis.

I’m not sure I will make it, I’m not sure I am strong.
But you look in my eyes and tell me I am wrong.

You save me from danger. I’m helpless on my own.
Wherever that you are will forever be my home.

Promise me you will stay and not leave me any more.
‘Cause when you are with me, you make my heart soar.

You hold me in your arms and give me a kiss.
Now I can survive ‘cause you’re my oasis.

I only have one dream to wish.
Will you always be my oasis?

You hold me in your arms and give me a kiss.
Now I can survive ‘cause you’re my oasis.

You are the core of my existence.
Will you always be my oasis?
My oasis. Oasis.

This started out as a poem, then it was changed to a song. It was inspired by the Twilight series.
