We Are All Rats

We are all rats
In an everlasting maze
Always hunting for the
Cheese
Overcoming obstacles only for our short-term
goals
If only we could escape this
Continuous maze
Then we could have all the cheese we
Desire
But that is sadly where we differ from the rats
We are held in eternal bondage
Tied by the ropes of our insecurities
The rats at least
have a chance at
Freedom

Awsome poem. very interesting, and it is very metaphoric...is that even a word? oh well, it is now. I love this poem!
