Take Life Slow

It’s our time, to just sit and relax,
Look up at the sky.
Figure things out in your head,
And if you let out a sigh,
Just never cry.
Life’s too short to have to worry,
So just don’t.
Live life to the fullest,
Whatever floats ya boat.
And not to gloat…
But my life is wonderful,
And I see yours isn’t.
What can I do,
To help you live it
Up?
I’ll try my best,
To keep you agoin’.
This boat we ride in,
I’ma keep ona rowin’ it.
‘Til we get where we wish.
We’ll take a breather and fish.

I love you, but do you love me?
Your insecure,
I’m so happy.
Just let me in…
I will help you swim.
Through the ocean.
‘Til we get to an island,
I’ll name it after you.
Then we’re back to square one,
We’re relaxin’ a few.
And I sum up the courage…
And you say I do…

Alright sooooo.

A fifty-years later,
We are oh so happy.
Our life was so swell,
I pulled you outta da sappy.
You’re no longer insecure,
You no longer endure,
Pain.
I erased the feelin’
And that big fish I’ma catchin’
Yeah, I’m still reelin’.
I just can’t believe.
All we had to do,
Was sit down, re-evaluate,
And relax a few.
That’s all it took,
And I found that uhh…
I love you. (:
