The Volcanoes Burn with Dragons blaze
They shake the Earth with Mighty Roars
And lava spills onto molten shores
Planet Melts under hot suns gaze

The Dragons Vomit Inferno Gore
They Gag as their putrid sickness dries
Their Gaping mouths crust and solidify
Forced to sleep until their time comes once more

One by one the dragons die
Liquid cools their fiery eye
Steaming Vapors collect and pool
As molten shores begin to cool

In Dark, Deep Dragons remain alive
Gods far too powerful to drown
Dragon smoke still burns hazy Brown
Born from the ashes first life thrives

Volcano is where life takes hold
Infants who scramble and cling
Nursing from a fire ring
Life burrows into scorching fold

Dragon tries its very best
To shake the children from the nest
So Away they creep and crawl
Hugging tight to vast ocean wall

Ocean fills with vibrant life
Armored things waged epic wars
Simple beings filled with strife
Live and die upon Ocean Floors

From far away sun, dragons again came
A searing, light spectrum poisons cells
And Ocean Currents form writhing hells
As Radiation sickens and maims

Earth's slate is now wiped clean
Life's a Danger Few survive
Earth now proudly wears green
Plants now create steamy lush hive

Gargantuan Life forms rise from earth
They smash, and destroy, and consume
But still life continues to bloom
The Tiny hide from the Giants girth
In the end the Giants fell
A Second dragon fell from sky
Annihilated here and nigh
Once more the world turned to hell

Lesser Creatures stretch and twist
Petty beings bloat and grow
They Crawl under filth and mist
Ash covers ground like snow

The Great Leviathan sunk and drowned
Goliath was struck down, and died
Colossus shrunk and changed in size
While soaring Wyvern plummeted to ground

Scale turned to fur and blood grew warm
Time has come for the mammal age
Water is now frozen cage
Land gives birth to new, pious form

From the mindless a new arose
They stand erect, tall and proud
Wit is their tool to slay their foes
Wide Eyes stare up at black storm cloud

Knowledge flows, a never ending flood
Crude stone now tears at tender skin
White teeth shine wide in toothy grin
Ape first feasts upon fresh blood

Fur was shed and fell to dust
And thus man now stands above all else
Merely a shadow of his former self
Man's blood lust cost him nature's trust

Man had only one terrible fear
Where fire burns man dare not go near
Man knew flame, that horrible, red flower
Destroys all with unstoppable power

Titan Prometheus did pity
His gift to man, the power of light
Gave man his wish, unstoppable might
The Titans punishment, gory and gritty

Prometheus's sacrifice was soon forgot
Fire failed to sooth savage race
So from the forbidden fruit they did taste
And soon man's soul began to fester and rot

For a time the mortals lived together
Their Sacred Knowledge tamed the land
But sadly nothing good can last forever
And Babel crumbled into shifting sand

Apart man flew in all directions
Skin and colors changed and blended
But humankind's wounds could not be mended
Violence now held man's affections

From their shame and misery
Mans delusions bore false hope
To justify slipping down evils slope
Prophets promised man's souls eternity

When there was no one left to fight
They sought evil in plain sight
The strange or odd were burned alive
For not keeping up with the “good” man's stride

Natures beauty was quickly slaughtered
Majestic mountain was cleaved in two
And wooden forest cleaved anew
Hand woven noose tightened taughter

The fall of Babel made man forget
In his fear he had enslaved
Countless allies he should have saved
Of slavery only the blind man saw threat

Superstition turned to science
A tool that coerced man's compliance
When a nation's squabbles interrupted the calm
All it took to end the war was a bomb

Man felt terror once again
He knew this time they had gone too far
So they stitched up infected scar
And set aside tie to mend

Things were peaceful for quite sometime
Fear of each other kept man in line
And though war machines continued to grind
All was good in civilian mind

Behind closed doors corrupt men paced
Plotting death for a material prophet
They gambled with the human race
No one remembers who fired the first rocket

It happened in an instant, a flash
A push of a button and all was over
One quick slap and man awoke, sober
Too slow, too late, the bombs fell with a crash

One by one the lights went out
Earth shook and split with ferocious Roar
The Dragons rose forth and awoke once more
From the dirt, fire did spout

All life had vanquished and died
And in no time at all the oceans dried
Earth's plates shifted and shook
Rock spewed fire from every nook

The Volcanoes Burn with Dragons blaze
They shake the Earth with Mighty Roars
And lava spills onto molten shores
Planet Melts under hot suns gaze

The Dragons Vomit Inferno Gore
They Gag as their putrid sickness dries
Their Gaping mouths crust and solidify
Forced to sleep until their time comes once more

One by one the dragons die
Liquid cools their fiery eye
Steaming Vapors collect and pool
As molten shores begin to cool

In Dark, Deep Dragons remain alive
Gods far too powerful to drown
Dragon smoke still burns hazy Brown
Born from the ashes first life thrives
