turn the truth
hide the lies
burn the proof
ignore the cries
transient dreams
rule our world
grounding our schemes
taking us for a whirl
slide on the shades
and block out the truth
morality fades
no one has proof
an age of confusion
everything goes
ridden with allusion
nothing real shows
so we,
continue on
in our facade
as if nothing is ever wrong
