Sitting all alone,
Just wanting to be loved all along

She can't see what life is worth,
Because all she's ever felt is hurt

Hiding behind her feelings deep inside,
Wishing she didn't have to live lie

All those lonely years,
Of fighting back the tears

Filling her with hurt and pain,
Hoping someday she'll be happy again

She feels like hope is gone,
Trying to stand and be strong

Realizing it's a hard road,
When you face the world alone

Putting her fears aside,
She struggles to survive

Seeing that before she can be loved,
She must love herself

Once she learns to love herself,
She finds god, and asks him for help

She finally saw some light,
Realizing he was all she needed to get her through life.
