Hockey
The thrill of the game,
It seems to entice.
Not at all lame,
But the best sport on ice.
Hockey’s the best.
It’s my favorite sport to play.
Beating the rest,
Every single day.
From the drop of the puck.
To the blast of the horn,
It’s not about luck,
But the skill of the player in the jersey that’s worn.
Down by one goal.
With time running out,
We’re stuck in a hole,
With the fans starting to rout.
The buzzer sounds.
The game is done.
Not a win to be found,
But at least we had fun.
The moral is.
Whether you win or lose.
It’s all about fun,
So be happy with what you do.
