The man with the painted face,
Has just climbed up a rung,
My home is now his place,
But it's been mine since I was young

He's walked the horizon for years,
And whilst sweat gushed down his nape,
I was accumulating fears --
Scared stiff by his jet black cape

Now he's here --
I can't run,
I can't escape,
The man with the painted face,
Has won.
