You just want somebody to love you
But you won’t give your heart away
It’s a hypocritical thing
But you go by what you say
You fool them with your smile
Your eyes and with your charm
You want them to fall hard for you
And still bring you zero harm
Tell me…

How can you be so warm and so beautiful
Then turn around…
And be a cold cold cruel soul-snatcher

It beat you cuz you surrendered to it
By blocking people from heart
You think by never truly living
You would never really fall
I’ve got news for you, my dear
Sometimes it’s a necessary evil
But the game played between two lovers
Is definitely not for the faint or feeble
Tell me…

How can you be so warm and so beautiful
Then turn around…
And be a cold cold cruel soul-snatcher

Why don’t you stand in the fires of Hell
The invented one others call ‘love’
Let it melt you to oblivion
With one that could be sent from above
It’s not healthy and it’s not right
When you’re a freezer full of ice
Treat your boys a little better
Most will play you nice
Tell me…

How can you be so warm and so beautiful
Then turn around…
And be a cold cold cruel soul-snatcher
