The thing about a story is that you dream it as you tell it, hoping that others might dream along with you, and in this way memory, imagination, and language combine to make spirits in the head.
--Tim O'Brien

There are minds full of fantasy

Of beasts and quests dire

Of passions burning fervently

Which blaze but never tire

There are minds singing silently

Hoping daylight soon will show

They fly like fairies flitter fast

And feather light wings glow

There are minds everywhere, anywhere

Like soil on the ground

Waiting for rain and root

To grab them and take hold

There are minds full of fantasy

Everywhere we go

Of lands and earth we’ve never walked

And likely never know

There are those asking constantly

For want to understand

Wander aimlessly in scrutiny

Seek anxiously homeland

There are creatures hidden far and wide

Lacking what they require

Unseeing what soul needs

At command of heart’s desire

There are places to be found

Wherever seas will carry

Where minds yearn for mighty rule

Power extraordinary

There are minds full of fantasy

Everywhere we go

Dreams this world has never seen and

Never will outgrow.
