Unnoticed

I whisper to myself,
in a dark corner,
so people will leave
me alone, "people", with
their accusing stares, they
make me hate myself,
they make me hate being bi,
they detest me because I'm
different. My "parents" detest
me because they thought I
was going to be a normal
teenager... because I'm me,
and they can't see why I like
guys more than girls, but like
girls all the same, because
they think one or the other.
I think why not like
both of my best friends, they're
both sexy as hell on a bad day.
So I wait in a dark corner,
whispering my hatred, as the
minutes tick by, unnoticed

Interesting style. Although I'm straight, I am tolerant of gay people... and I understand. Thanks for your comment on my poem.

"Repeat the good and the bad. Do it all again. And pile on the years."

This was really good. I'm sorry about your parent's if this is really about you. This is a great poem and should be in the magazine.
