Greetings from our blessed sun, the kiss of dawn,
Hiding behind, the reflection of night,
The shine of heaven will show Satan’s spawn,
Black to bright, darkness can’t live without light.
The dark part of me, my shadow it’ll be.

A malicious friend of the Bogeyman,
Chained to my body at the height of day,
Freed by Sunset, off with evil it ran,
Soon it shall come to me, can’t stay astray.
‘Tis the balance of the ancient decree.

Everyone in this world has their own demons, their own battles in which they have to fight every day of their life. When I lose that battle, the badest, darkest part of myself comes out to haunt me and my family. I hate it when that happens, but like the sun during the day and the moon at night, there are bad this just as there are good. I wrote this poem because I want to tell people that no matter what kinds of flaws you have, there are always something beautiful and good shining inside of you. Thank you.
