You think its your fault even though it isn’t
When you get there
Your hope for a miracle almost proved the doctor wrong
When you get there
Your scared that this is the last time you’ll see him
When you get there
You’re ready to fight when your relative thinks he has more right to see him
When you get there
You argue so he doesn’t have to stay in a home
When you get there
You wish you could’ve talked him out of keeping his license
When you get there
You weep when people argue over who gets what
When you get there
You want it to be like it used to be
When you try to get out of there

this was a great way to express how I felt over my Grandfather's death.
