I wander lost among the whispy clouds of contentment
Where the jokers come to stay
When the masquerade is through
My heart weeps
For the precious memories it no longer keeps
I remember
Your kaleidoscope eyes
-They whisper no lies
As I gaze into the inferno of the yellow sun burning brightly
Visions of you conquer my mind
I have no sense of time
While below-
The fields of wild strawberries bleed rubies
Mourning the forgotten dreams of tomorrow
