Patch
there is a tear for me to mend
I work in and out across the fabric
and the work calms me
letting my thoughts out
lessening the gap behind then
for it only takes a tiny thread
to turn these pins and needles
into something whole again
and for a few moments
I have the power to fix something
and as i stitch the pieces back together
I can almost pretend
that it will fix me too
