You catch me tight,
You hold me back,
You crush me and crumple me in your fist.
At first ,
you give me wings
with your own hands,
you show me how they fly.

But at one horrid moment,
YOU cut mine!
Were these the same hands that showed me flights fine?

And then ,
you push me in your dreadful cage,
a box of glass.

So dreadful that my mind forgets , even to caste a mirage.

But ,
for how long,
how long will this cage hold me?
how long will my voice not reach the world?

One day, one bright day,
I will break it,
with my regained wings

And then the pieces of the same glass ,
will choke your soul,
will hurt your greedy eyes.

But will let me free ,
to fly again.
