There are three main Universities in Arizona. 1st is U of A which is credited for having the largest science program in Arizona. ASU is the largest University in Arizona. Last but not least is NAU which is the cheapest of the 3. Each of these Universities has their benefits and are better for certain degrees.

U of A has the largest science program in Arizona. This is perfect if you are looking for a science major not offered elsewhere. Also, they have a very good band program for those looking for a music degree. Unfortunately it is located in a slightly unsavory neighborhood. Other than that it is an amazing school to go to if you are looking for a science major.

ASU has the is the largest University in Arizona. It also houses the largest public research center in the United states. ASU is the best university to go to if you looking for an engineering degree. Of course it is also called a party school so, if you don’t like rowdy colleges this probably isn’t the place for you. ASU is the best school if you like big schools.

NAU is the least expensive of the 3 universities. It costs approximately $16,00 dollars a year compared to ASU and U of A which cost about $30,000 a year. It costs virtually half of what the other 2 do. Also it is located in a heavily forested area compared to ASU and U of A which are located in downtown city environments. It also offers a wide variety of major to compete with the other 2 Universities. This is the place to be for the money conscious student.

So in conclusion each university has its advantages. U of A has the largest science program. ASU is the largest university in the state and NAU is the most cost effective choice. It is the student’s responsibility to choose which one best fits their needs.
