I have a confession. I love Disney. Yeah, go ahead and laugh, just like my friends. I love the happiness, the way everything is always solved, I love to sing the songs, and do the dance moves from High School Musical in my head.

But here is the deal. I hardly ever tell anyone this. Well, my little sister knows, she's the one I usually watch the stuff with, but other than that, not a lot of people. And lately I've been wondering. Why don’t I tell people. Why do I make fun of the movies and TV shows with my friends, even when I watch them when I get home?

I guess I'm not the only one who has been told to “Stand up for what you believe.” And I always told myself that is what I would do, and that no one would be able to stop me. Yeah right.

Why does liking Disney have anything to do with it? Well, I don’t tell anyone, because of what they might think or say. And if I cant say something that simple to my friends, then how can I ever be expected to stand up for what I really do believe is important, a controversial topic that I have strong feelings for?

So here is my point. Life starts in the little things. And that is where your true character lies. That is what will make you the person you are.

Now excuse me, I have to go and watch the new Hannah Montana episode.

Nothing is wrong with liking childish things. Everyone is some sort of geek or loser which ever you want to call it. I am the only person in our school who admits that I like to write storys and that I want to write for a magazine such as the New Yorker or Modern Bride. I want to travel and I think that foreign peoples lives are  amazing. I like disney movies such as the Lion King and who cares? I like them and I am fine with myself liking them
