Drugs&Teens

Drugs are a huge problem where I live. Drugs and stupidity are some of the main reasons teens catch Aids/HIV, and other STDs. Drugs can lead to pregnancy. I believe drugs are the main problem in a community. Drugs are a huge problem. Statistics show that over ten thousand teens are using drugs. Beginning with Marijuana, weed, pot, however you word it, it’s the gateway drug. Pain relievers are the second leading drug used by teens. It is so easy to get pain relievers. Oh, my back hurts, and the doctors will give you a prescription. Parents keep pain relievers for whatever reason, then their teenage daughter, swipes a couple and can sell them at school. The third is cocaine. Teenage girls just want to be skinny and popular. Cocaine helps them get that way. Shooting up heroin and other drugs is the main reason teens catch HIV/AIDS. Unprotected sex and drugs? Horrible combination. I would love to see the world be clean off drugs and sixteen and seventeen year old girls off the streets, but that will happen when hell freezes over.
