There's really nothing to writing. You just sit down, find a suitable mechanism to channel your thoughts through, and bleed. When there is no blood to discuss, you stop, but until then, the cut doesn't stop flowing. But there is one question you have to ask yourself. Do you heal yourself through writing, or do you just let the blood go, knowing full well that there will be a scar?

Through the many times that I have sat down and bled crimson, I feel that I have left scars in some cases, and healed myself in others. Writing is an art that I endure, love, and vent through. It is only when I capture the very heartbeat of my own life in any piece that I am satisfied. Until then, I insist on bleeding.

I feel a debate about the purpose of writing is needed.
