   I'm hit
Constantly by
The lack
Of"real" love
Of music
These days

My heart
Weepsevery
Time I see the
Same girl crying over
One band
Today
Andanother
Tomorrow

And that was
The fifth
Girl to passme
Today
Singing that song

Where has
Ourindividuality
Gone

Have we become
So media crazy
That as
Soonas the
"Large-chested" blonde
Releases it
We all feel
Theneed to buy it

Every time an
Adult says
"This generationjust
Doesn't get it"
I wish that
I could disagree
But, they'reright
We don't get it
Our appreciation for
Music is nolonger
True

We've confused
The music with
The money thatso
Deviously masks
The music itself

You are so right.
Britany Spears? The Jonas Brothers?
Come on, listen to the real stuff.
