Summary: When one thinks of an alternate universe, their first impression isn't much like Tamara's world. In her world, they have these things called "Schools" that people lock us up in if we have magical powers. Usually, no one gets out of a school until they're eighteen and usually they don't get out with their magic.
Tamara and her friend Briana have been going to one of these schools since they were both two. Briana has shown brilliant magic in the past but Tamara can't do a simple levitation spell with out crumpling to the floor.
But when she's saved by a mysterious boy named L and brought to the Rebellion, she learns that she'll have to learn how to use her magic if she wants to live.
