Summary: Claire's mother died when she was just beginning high school. After the death Claire met her two half sisters, Mady and Anna Belle, who tortured Claire. It's her junior year now and Claire and her best friend Ben are well into high school when they meet Bridget and Nathan Ember. Ben falls for Bridget and Claire for Nathan.
