Summary: Life's simple. You eat, get through chemistry class, go ride a few slopes with friends, sleep, repeat. At least, that's what Ani thought. That whole line of thinking gets blown out of the water when Ani's long forgotten uncle returns, bringing a torrent of unbelievable events with him.

Before Ani can blink, she's whisked away to another planet, in another galaxy, and told that she has to help the Oak Keepers save the universe. A universe she wasn't even aware existed a few short days ago.

With the help of a fellow Oak Keeper, an arrogant guy named Stelec, and mysterious trader, Ani might just be able to unravel the truth behind the Keepers, and the truth of her own past as well. And with any luck, she'll be able to stop the destruction of the universe. But luck is always one thing she's been slim on.
