Teen Ink

Summary: Vincent is just like any boy you see on the street, except for the fact that he's been raised under the expectation that he'll one day overthrow the tyrant who ripped apart his family and country.
On top of this, the inhabitants of Earth haven't taken the introduction to his people well. A rift has opened, sending thousands of beings from another plane of existence to Earth. As Etherians, dubbed "ratchets" by humans, struggle to make it on a foreign planet where they're treated as aliens, unexpected in society if they haven't been caught and held captive.
What's a prince to do but help his people? Can Vincent help the tortured Etherians while training to take out an adversary he was pitted against at birth, or fail at one of many trials waiting for him?
