Summary:

Sandy Jamison has always had a rough life. She spent her childhood in group homes and with foster families that ended up not wanting her. She never found out what happened to her parents, but never wanted to know either. She turned to drugs to help her cope.
When she moved to Maine is when her life started to change. She found a friend who put her on track with her life. After graduating, she found a wonderful guy that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. When Henry Butler is killed during combat in Afghanistan, her life starts to hurtle back down the drain. But is he really dead? Sandy starts to have dreams that questions whether or not she's in a reality or a dream. Which one is real? Will it be too late when she figures it out for herself?
