Summary: I heard the call. A blood boiling scream scratched at my ears, a chorus of matching cries following. More will be coming! My mind kept warning. With one last glance at Nate, I held back tears, I took a life, Cani or not, I killed someone. My old friend. Blowing a kiss, I whipped away, quickly pushing open the door. I need to warn the others. I thought, We need to get out of here.
