   me

in this

larger than life

sphere,

home

to the crazy

religious

blond

black,

white

short, tall

irish,

indian

children

of this

earth ...

where mountain ranges

follow city streets

along the deserts

overlooking small villages

filled with beautiful people

who Love the world.

sidewalks surrounding

small suburban

streets

slowly drift

off sandy beaches

to highways covered in

wildflowers ...

the world may not seem

what most consider

quiet

but loud and alive

out late in Manhattan

clubs

even fishing upon the Atlantic,

maybe just by watching from

a distance

can you see

mothers holding their child's

hand

or lovers kiss upon a park bench

under the stars,

wondering what

the people of this fine

establishment

earth

are really looking for

in life,

who are they

what makes them so different

so beautiful

so smart

what makes my child

different from yours

but that every single individual

seeks difference

among the next

making the world a mosaic

painted the color

of people

living life,

but as for

little ol' me

there's no place like home.
