After reading this article, I feel the same way the author does. The author felt disgusted at the actions of Michael Vick. He ran a ring for innocent dogs to fight in for his own pleasure and to gain money from his friends. It’s a crime to run a dogfighting ring, and the fact that he pleaded guilty makes it that much more worse. However, that happened a while ago. Vick has served his time in jail, and paid his price to society. That being said, I think it’s time to forgive and forget the wrongs that he’s done. He now plays quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles and is very successful. So I think the author is wrong by saying that Vick “had everything and lost it all.” There are still people that have a sour thought in their mind when they hear his name, but that is their own opinion.
