Religion Of Running MAG

By Anonymous

I carry not a cross, but my body.
I carry my body up Warren St., Bowman,Ruggles,
And Mt.Pleasant.
     Nor am IChrist.
Running is my other religion.
I am as faithful as possible.
Myreligion contains pain, suffering, sacrifice,
Hardship, and bliss. My shoesare God.
And my body - adisciple.
     Take a run withme.
When Christ falls, I stop to walk.
When Christ dies, Icollapse.
When Christ is reborn,
     I run again.
Religion isjust reassurance - when you don't
Feel close to God - go to church.
When Ican't breathe, I go to my
Inhaler. Asthma closes me in and
Betrays mybody.
     Asthma is myJudas.
So in repent, I run again
And again and again.
Then I write itdown.
     In mylog.

          InMy Bible ....

Good metaphors on running, they really gripped me,  but why don't you edit your paper before you send it to Teenink? It would be a better read....:]
