Their accomplishments surprised us all
As we watched them win at football
Up to the day of the Superbowl
We watched them reach toward their goal
The Packers alone stood in the way
As Pats' fans said "You'll pay!"
Drew Bledsoe, with his golden arm
Was all that they relied upon
And though they remained tough
Apparently this was not enough
35-12 the end score did appear
And the Pats left with hopes for next year.
