Love Has 1000 Faces

Love has 1000 faces, but I see you. Not a face of love, but an insult. Rid yourself from me. Your eyes pour hate into mine. Your hands are like frozen steel that are welded around mine. You paralyze me with fear.
I used to smile. I used to enjoy the sunshine and wind. Then you came into my life. Thinking you were one of the 1000 faces of love.
I fell for you. I plummeted down my mountain of security for you. I fell into the valley of denial for you. I fell in love with you. This turned into falling in love with your beatings. Falling in love with pain. Falling in love with bruises. Falling in love with hate.
Love has 1000 faces, but I see you.
